MICELLAR WATER

The French femmes has been using their Eau Micellaire for ages, but to some of us this M-word might be new to our ears. Its gentle and easy-to-use formula has now made it a must-have for models, makeup artists and beauty junkies all around the world.

So what is it?
It looks and acts like normal water, but as the name tells the secret lies in its structure; micelles – which are tiny oil molecules suspended in soft water.

How does it work?
These micelles cling on to all dirt, makeup and other impurities on your skin leaving it soft, hydrated and glowy.

How to use it?
This might be the best part. It can be done pretty much anywhere as you don't need any water to rinse it off. Just apply some at a cotton pad and start swiping!

For what skin type?
For everyone that wants a clear complexion in record time! People with super-dry, sensitive and acne-prone skin have seen great improvement in their skin.

Here I've gathered four natural and organic alternatives:

Organic Rosewater & Tea Tree Cleanser from S.W. BASICS  –  Guess it can't be any simpler? This bottle contains only three ingredients; rose water, glycerine and tea tree oil. Exciting!

Multi Action Micellar Water from MÁDARA  –  Contains healing Aloe Vera and anti-aging hyaluronic acid.

Liquid Crystal 2-in-1 Micellic Cleanser from EVOLVE  –  Contains cell growth promoting pomegranate extract and hyaluronic acid (which has some amazing hydrating properties as well).

Eau Micellaire from MARILEE BIO  –  Contains rose water, aloe vera and water-lily, but also a cornflower infusion that tones and calms the skin.
