YES, IT'S CONFIRMED! Maison Martin Margiela will design an autumn/winter collection for H&M.
It will be launched worldwide and online the 15th of November. The collection includes women's and men's wear plus accessories.
It'll be interesting to see what they will come up with. According to the art like aesthetic luxury this exclusive brand stands for it will definitely be a challenge to transfer it to cheaper techniques and materials. I mean, what represents Margiela is their use of odd unexpected fabrics and constructions. Working with a lower budget is always trickier. But, limits can sometimes be a creativity booster. Don't you agree?
