Three Is A Trend
TARTAN

The good thing with autumn? To scroll through the street style pics and see what the lucky ones are wearing to fashion week.

One of the strongest trends at the moment? With no doubt TARTAN, mainly worn as a blazer or coat, but also on accessories as seen above.

The Perfect Pouch
STYLEIN SS18

Monochrome, timeless, feminine, sophisticated, airy, one-shoulder, maxi lengths, orange accents.

Stockholm Fashion Week is in full swing and one of my favorite collections so far is definitely STYLEIN. Guess I wasn't the only one who fell in love with THAT POUCH BAG...

See all pictures from the show HERE.

Three Is A Trend
THE PUFFER JACKET

The trend spotted outside the FW16 shows.

And then we were here. Subzero temperatures and a soft white layer covering the ground. It's winter, ladies and we better gear ourselves up to avoid freezing (and sneezing). Like every year at this time there is always the same battle – what jacket to invest in this season?

And as we all know, staying warm seldom go hand-in-hand with looking chic. Either we freeze or we put on something less good-looking to avoid this aforementioned. But, in fashion the tides are turning quickly and sometimes it happens to be to our favor.

Let's welcome the Michelin, the marshmallow or as my sister-in-law says – the kassler. Dear child has many names and taking a look at streetstyle and the runway this style really seems to live up to this saying. Well, as you can guess by this time I'm talking about the 90s classic that is making a huge comeback – the puffer jacket.

~

So, if there is one thing to keep in mind when talking about this fast spinning industry is that you should never take anything for granted. Always remember; never say never. What is a big no no one day can be the most hyped it-thing the next. Stay open minded and curious.

On the other hand I guess that's something you should apply on all things in life, right?

Acne Studios  –  Balenciaga  –  Stella McCartney.

The more Michelin and statement looking the trendier. For the brave hearted – let it slip down your shoulders as styled at Acne Studios and Balenciaga (as seen above), but also at Alexander McQueen and Vetements.

Get the Look
DREAMY GREEN

Dream Dressing

Gone through my style inspiration folder and found this stunning picture from Stockholm Fashion Week. Unfortunately I don't know who she is (maybe you do?), but what I do know is that this lady's look is impeccable!

Having a "I have nothing to wear"-day?

I suggest you to check out some street style pics. I always find some great inspiration over there and I'm sure you will too!

Anyway! I really hope you're having a great evening. I'm gonna get changed cause soon I'm off for some aerobics. Yey! I'm so excited.

Blue Denim & Red Accents

One thing I fell completely in love with when looking through the street style pics over at Grazia.it was this color combo – blue denim with red accents. I so have to try this myself. Why not with my new knit, remember?

Oh! That yoga? Well, first I started off with a run earlier today, went there with sore muscles and... let me put it this way – it's a miracle if I manage to get out of bed tomorrow, haha. It was great fun, but a real challenge for sure when it's all new. Already looking forward to next Tuesday though!

How about you – what kind of exercises/sports do you practice?

Bow Wow

Bow Slip-on Sneakers from JOSHUA SANDERS.

Speaking about shoes... How cool aren't these bow slip-on sneakers spotted at Paris Fashion Week? Statement shoes for sure!

Pink  –  Grey  –  Smog

Street Spotting
Patchwork

So, the Fashion Weeks are up and running. When looking at the style on the street there is no doubt what one of the big trends are – PATCHWORKS, spotted on everything from casual knits to colorful furry coats. Feels quite happy and playful, don't you think? I like it.

Pink
Perfection

Wouldn't mind wearing this today (or any other day). So fresh with a pink injection to an otherwise simple outfit. Love how great it goes with the beige coat. And those glasses... Well, it's all perfect!

Stockholm
Fashion Week

Today the fashion week kicked off in Stockholm!
So excited to see what they will be presenting for Autumn/Winter, especially Filippa K, Hunkydory and AltewaiSaome.

That Look
Giorgia Tordini

New York Fashion Week is now up and running. While making a quick browse through the street style pics it was this one look that just blew me off the chair! I mean, can it be more chic and flawless?

Giorgia, you look PERFETTO! xx

Coat craving
CAMEL

It's getting lighter outside (finally!) which makes me crave for likewise hues. And apparently I'm not alone having a thing for this… Just scroll through the street style photos from the fashion weeks (which are up and running as we speak!) and you'll see what I'm talking about. Easy way to put it; camel is the color to count on.

This style works perfect for the current transitional season when it's still a bit chilly outside, but yet you can't wait to dress "spring-y". So, if there's one jacket to go for this spring, this is the one. And best of all? The classic color makes it a keeper in your wardrobe that can be worn year after year.

MINNIE MOUSE
+
LONDON FASHION WEEK

PREPARE FOR SOME polka dots and big bows next month!

British designers such as Richard Nicoll, Michael van der Ham and Lulu Guinness (just to mention a few) will create a "Minnie Mouse Must Haves"-collection in dedication to our beloved Disney cartoon character. All pieces will be unveiled at London Fashion Week in September and later on auctioned on eBay to support the Fashion Art Foundation.

TOMMY TOMMY

I ALWAYS GET excited when there's a new Tommy Ton street style story out on Style.com
You better check it out. Here are my favourites this time!

AUSTRALIAN MBFW
STREET STYLE

ANOTHER FASHION WEEK is over AND I wasn't there. Damn... Haha. Such great style they have down under! I always find the street style most inspiring. Don't know much about Australian brands to be honest so I'll definitely go and check out the collections they showed. Exciting! I saw a glimpse of Bec & Bridge's collection and MAN those flower printed pants... Possible craving. Will show you! xx

PARIS FASHION WEEK
STREET STYLE

I LOVE THE FASHION WEEKS! Not just for all the amazing collections, but for everything that goes on off the runways, between the shows and out on the street. Unfortunately I'm not one of those lucky ones who has the priviliege to attend and be a part of this whole fashion carousel.. Not yet.
Until then I content myself with some great street style photos.
A bientôt, Paris!
